Metropolitan Police

For information, we have received an alert on the following scam email from one of our members. We have advised Grampian Police and the Chamber advice is to ignore and delete this.

Ref: MPPX196HA-UK

As you are aware of the activities of terrorist attacked at our airport, during our daily routine on 100% inspection on incoming and out going flights, we arrested a young man with a consignment and the young man claimed to be your business partner. After we scan the trunk box, we discovered the trunk box contain millions of dollar in liquid cash and other documents attached to the consignment did not carry his name, but carry’s your name and address as the receivers of the trunk box and this is very SUSPICIOUS, because the young man is not an accredited diplomat, for that reason: we are suspecting him to be an intruder or impersonator.

Get back to me immediately to explain what you know about these funds, to enable us complete our investigation and maybe release the funds if we confirmed it to be genuine/legitimate funds since the consignment has your name on it as the receiver and for the young man-he will be charge to court accordingly.

It is very important you acknowledge the receipt of the E-mail.

Yours in service,
