National Voluntary Arts Survey maps Scotland’s largest arts sectorEvery week throughout Scotland, thousands of people meet up to sing, dance, paint, act, knit, sew and participate in many other activities the arts and crafts have to offer. These people often play a vital role in their communities, boosting the local economy, providing cultural pursuits and increasing mental and physical wellbeing.
So those holding the purse strings know just what a valuable asset they have in the amateur arts sector, Voluntary Arts Scotland and Aberdeenshire Council’s Arts Development Team are conducting the first ever National Voluntary Arts Survey.
They want to know who is out there, what they’re doing, where they’re doing it and who they’re doing it with.
As a thank you, everybody taking part in the survey will get a small gift. Groups will be entered into a prize draw to win £300 in cash, with three £50 runner-up prizes.
You can request a hard copy of the survey by calling (0131) 225 7355, or emailing: research@vascotland.org.uk
It can also be completed online at: www.vascotland.org.uk/15542
The deadline of Friday, September 30 is fast approaching so anyone who wants to have their views included should act as quickly as possible. 85 views
