NEW DIRECTOR FOR ABERDEEN TRANSPORT COMPANY

Aberdeen based transport company ARR Craib Limited has announced the appointment of a new director.

Colin Crosby will join the board of the company as a non-executive director from 01 April 2011.

Mr Crosby, who is the current President of Aberdeen Chamber of Commerce and a board member of Aberdeen Harbour Board and ACSEF, will join ARR Craibs to bring his considerable knowledge of the business community and financial experience to the logistics sector.

ARRC Managing Director Ed Anderson said : “Colin brings a wealth of board room and financial experience to our company and this will help us deliver our growth strategy at a time when the transport sector is facing considerable challenges.”

Mr Crosby commented : “ Transport and logistics are a vital part of the infrastructure and economic wellbeing of this region and I am delighted to have the opportunity to contribute to the continuing development of this sector.”
