New Faces at Volunteering Fayre

With just days to go until the annual Insight Aberdeen Third Sector and Volunteering Fayre at The Music Hall, organisers ACVO (Aberdeen Council of Voluntary Organisations) are delighted to welcome several new faces to the event.

Exhibiting at the Fayre for the first time this year are Aberdeen and North East of Scotland Music Festival, Dial-a-Community-Bus, Macmillan Cancer Support, the Scout Association, Special Constables and SSAFA Forces Help (Soldiers, Sailors, Airmen and Families Association). The new stallholders will join around forty other charities and voluntary groups to showcase the valuable and varied work which they carry out around Aberdeen City.

Groups will be providing information about what they do, why they do it and how members of the public can go about getting involved.

On stage entertainment will be provided throughout the day by local youth group, Music in Motion, who will be performing in song and sign language, Aberdeen Youth Choir performing songs from the musical Annie, and a multi-ethnic hip hop dance group. In addition, Lisa Lollipop will be on hand for children’s face painting.

Insight Aberdeen is a free event and takes place from 10am-3pm on Saturday 2nd July at The Music Hall.
