New Pavilions at Kingseat Business Park

Aberdeen, UK – Two newly-completed office pavilions at Kingseat Business Park are now being jointly marketed by international property consultancy, Knight Frank and DM Hall, following the successful letting of a similar property in the same business campus.

Pavilions 2 (South) and 3 at Kingseat Business Park in Aberdeenshire extending to 175 sq m (1,889 sq ft) and 351 sq m (3,778 sq ft) respectively, comprise two new detached office buildings offering flexible open-plan accommodation, just one mile east of the popular commuter village of Newmachar.

Just ten miles north of Aberdeen city centre, the two pavilions are available immediately at very competitive rental rates from £12 per sq ft.

The flexibility of the accommodation has already been illustrated by the successful letting of the North unit of Pavilion 2, to Flowerpots Childcare, which has experienced dramatic growth in the seven months since its inception.

Alison King, who owns Flowerpots Childcare speaks highly of the quality of accommodation and location of the pavilions at Kingseat Business Park. She said, “The business park is very close to a new housing development which is what immediately attracted me to the unit but it also benefits from being so close to Dyce, the airport and Aberdeen city itself.

“The pavilions are in a wonderful countryside setting with superb natural light and great parking facilities, which is exactly what we needed for our nursery.”

After starting with just seven children on its books, Flowerpots Childcare has experienced tremendous growth, now catering for over 40 families, and the possibility of expanding is now a top priority for Alison.

She said, “After starting out so well, we are now in the process of contemplating expanding the company and this location is my ideal home for Flowerpots Childcare. It has everything we need and parents who either live or work nearby, or commute to Aberdeen, find the premises easy to access and experience limited traffic issues. Even though these pavilions have been built as office accommodation, they are very flexible and easy to transform to fit your own requirements.”

Katherine Monro, partner with Knight Frank, said, “The two pavilions at Kingseat Business Park will suit a variety of businesses, although they are ready to move into as office accommodation. They are handy for the A947 road, the airport and are close to neighbouring occupiers, Enterprise North East Trust and Morrison Construction. As demonstrated by Flowerpots Childcare, the pavilions are adaptable and work well as office or commercial use.”

The open-plan premises have kitchen and toilet facilities, large, open windows and benefit from generous car parking facilities.
