About Policy & Communications
The Chamber's acts as the voice of business for its 1,200+ members, lobbying on issues which impact on them. Policy is developed in conjunction with our Policy Council, an elected group of 27 members representing all sizes and sectors of our membership. The Chamber is also supported in its policy formulation process by our Virtual Policy Groups. The groups comprise members of the Chamber's Board and Council and representatives of the wider Chamber membership. Members who would like to be involved with these should contact the Policy team. The Policy and Communications unit is also responsible for providing a communication service on behalf of the Chamber including the Business Bulletin magazine and all media related activity. The unit also looks after the Chamber's Public Affairs activities, and liases with politicians and senior officials at all levels. Please click on the tabs above to find out more...
