Baker Hughes to receive OTC spotlight on new technology award for Integrity eXplorer Wireline Cement Evaluation Service

Baker Hughes announced today that its Integrity eXplorer™ Wireline Cement Evaluation Service has earned an OTC Spotlight on New Technology award.

This award is presented to selected Offshore Technology Conference (OTC) exhibitors for the most innovative hardware and software technologies for offshore exploration and production. Commercialized in 2015, the Integrity eXplorer service is being recognized for its unique ability to directly assess the integrity of cement bonds by determining cement shear properties—the true indicator of the presence of solid cement behind the casing—in any wellbore-fluid environment or cement mixture.

The Integrity eXplorer Wireline Cement Evaluation Service is an example of Baker Hughes’ strategy to improve well efficiency, optimize production and increase ultimate recovery.
