A leading control and instrumentation company has entered into a business alliance with a Houston-based accumulator manufacturer.
Rig Control Products (RCP), which is headquartered in Aberdeen and also has an office and workshop in Singapore, has partnered with Accumulators Inc. following discussions with the company during OTC in Houston at the start of the month.
The new business alliance will see RCP (Aberdeen & Singapore) provide Accumulators Inc. with a European and South-east Asian distribution channel for the support and supply of its products across these regions.
Specialists in their field since 1987, Accumulators Inc. is the world leader in the design and manufacture of all types and pressures of ASME U certified accumulator products and sustain the largest inventory in the accumulator industry.
The alliance with the Houston-based company will strengthen RCP’s position as a leading supplier in the global oilfield supply of accumulator products and spares, and will also allow RCP to diversify into new markets across Europe and South-east Asia.

RCP was one of 64 Scottish companies represented at OTC as part of the Scotland pavilion organised by Scottish Enterprise.
