RGU is Tops for Graduate-level Employment

The Sunday Times University Guide 2013 (published 30 September 2012), has quoted Robert Gordon University (RGU) in Aberdeen as one of the top universities in the UK for graduate employment with only Harper Adams University College, a specialist agricultural college, scoring higher.

Alastair McCall, Editor of The Sunday Times University Guide, said:

"With a prospectus that proclaims 'Your career starts here', Robert Gordon does exactly what it says on the tin. For many years now, it has turned out job-ready graduates who are snapped up by employers."

RGU was the highest-ranked modern university in last year's Sunday Times University Guide and is one of only two modern universities to appear in the top 50 of all UK universities in this year's guide. This achievement is primarily down to its focus on providing a good student experience and strong graduate employability record.

Professor Ferdinand von Prondzynski, Principal of RGU, comments:

"I'm delighted that RGU has once again been confirmed as a university that combines real academic excellence with innovation and enterprise. The university will, over the coming months, publish its plans for the next phase of its development and growth, which will involve a focus on the student experience, employability of graduates, joint initiatives with industry and academic partners, and support for the development of Aberdeen and North-East Scotland. RGU will aim to be recognised as the most innovative university in Scotland and beyond, and as an institution that cares about its students and the wider community."
