Robert Gordon University (RGU) is holding a Postgraduate Open Day on Saturday 17 November from 10am to 1pm at the University's Faculty of Health and Social Care in Garthdee.
Members of the public are invited to take advantage of this opportunity to talk to the experts and find out more about the University's portfolio of taught programmes and how straightforward it can be to continue or return to learning, boost career prospects or find success in a new field. Each of RGU's three faculties will be present with representatives from many courses from computing, engineering and life sciences to business, surveying, law, social work, art and design and nursing, the University has something to offer everyone.
Members of staff will be on hand to discuss courses, chat about finance, careers, services and facilities and answer questions on how to apply. Departments will also be open for visitors to take advantage of short tours, available on request.
Lynsey Cumming, the University's Senior Education Liaison Officer, explains: "The Open Day will be useful for anyone interested in further study, from experienced professionals who would like to gain a new qualification, to recent graduates wishing to develop their career, and anyone who is considering part-time study.
"The event will also give those considering further study an insight into the financial incentives available to them. Individuals may be surprised to discover how affordable returning to study can be."
