NOF NETWORKING EVENTNOF Energy, the business support organisation for oil, gas, nuclear and offshore renewable sectors, is hosting a major industry networking event with Acteon.
Taking place at the Hilton Tree Tops Hotel, Aberdeen, on 19 April the event will offer supply chain companies the opportunity to learn more about the Acteon’s group of companies, which provides subsea services across life of field to the international oil and gas industry.
Formed from the UWG Group in 2004, The Acteon Group has developed to comprise 16 leading companies. The group now collectively represents an outstanding portfolio for the subsea services area, linking seabed to surface across a range of interconnected disciplines.
The group has its Head Office in Norwich, but its network of companies spans the globe. Acteon companies possess complementary skills, capabilities and technology, and are committed to the same international customer base. Acteon promotes fresh thinking and initiative and these values shape the services that Acteon companies offer, both collectively and independently.
Delegates will have the chance to hear from Christoph Daum, Managing Director of Acteon Group member MENCK, who will be supported by Will Rowley, Acteon Group Analyst. The pair will share information about the Acteon Group and its history, the type of goods and services that Acteon purchase from the supply chain, and what is expected of contracted companies.
The networking lunch will enable delegates to find out about potential new business opportunities with the Acteon Group by not simply giving the chance to meet representatives from the Acteon Group itself, but also from some of the 16 Acteon companies.
Managing Directors, Presidents and Principal Directors from the high-profile member companies will be in attendance, along with Business Development, Technical, Sales, Marketing and Strategic Resourcing Managers. The firms there will include 2H Offshore, InterMoor, Mirage, Pulse and Seatronics.
Christoph Daum, Managing Director of MENCK, said: “Events such as these are very valuable to Acteon and its companies, as well as to the wider supply chain. They give businesses the opportunity to hear first hand what Acteon companies require and expect, and enable our members to meet potential sub-contractors in a focused but informal setting.”
Joanne Leng MBE, Director Business Development at NOF Energy said: “The Acteon Group is an important target for the supply chain, with 16 leading companies in its portfolio. This event is so much more than a simple networking lunch, with NOF Energy offering members unparalleled access to not just one, but a whole host of companies in the subsea services arena.”
