North East Businesses Invited To Attend the 2011 Grampian Awards For Business Enterprise

Businesses from across Aberdeen are today, Wednesday 18th May, invited to book a table for this year’s Grampian Awards for Business Enterprise. The awards will be presented at a black tie dinner on Thursday 30th June at Mercure Ardoe House Hotel.

The awards, which comprise nine categories, are organised by Enterprise North East Trust (Enterprise) and sponsored by The Royal Bank of Scotland (RBS) and Aberdeen City and Aberdeenshire Council, Business Gateway, Wood Group and Optima Solutions. Since their inception in **YEAR** the awards have provided a forum for the recognition of business flair, entrepreneurship and innovation. All winners will receive an Enterprise award and the winner of The Wood Group Award for Innovation will also be awarded a cheque for £5,000.

Gary McEwan, chief executive of Enterprise says, “The standard of entries for this year’s Grampian Awards for Business Enterprise remains consistently high. The entrants come from a wide range of sectors of the north east business community and together they play a vital role in contributing to the local, national and international economies. The awards ceremony will provide the perfect opportunity for the entrants to celebrate their successes to date while waiting to hear if they have been successful in their chosen category.”

Tickets are now available at a cost of £95 per guest (plus VAT) or £950 (plus VAT) for a table of ten. The event begins with a champagne reception at 7.00pm, with carriages at midnight. Tickets for the event can be booked by calling Karen Clark on 01224 289711, or emailing karen.clark@enetrust.com. Tickets are expected to be in demand as the event has been a sell out each year since its inception.
