North secures Castlehill refurbishment contract

Local refurbishment specialists North Contracts, a division of North Offshore, has secured a contract in the region of £1million with Castlehill Housing Association to install replacement kitchens bathrooms and gas boilers to sheltered housing and general needs tenement properties throughout the North East.

The contract will see the Altens based company install approximately 158 kitchens, 37 bathrooms and replace 82 gas boilers across Aberdeen city, shire and Moray.

Work on the project, which commenced in mid July, with the refurbishment of a property in Cullen, and is expected to be completed by April 2012.

Diane Brampton, asset manager at Castlehill Housing Authority, said “We are happy to be working together with North Contracts in the refurbishment of our properties. We have worked together in the past and the workmanship has always been of the highest quality.”

Castlehill Housing Association is a leading provider of affordable housing in North East Scotland. The Association is a non-profit making charity and is monitored by the Scottish Housing Regulator.
