It’s time to shine!Northern Star Business Awards 2012Following the success of 2011, preparations are now underway for the Northern Star Business Awards 2012, Aberdeen’s most prestigious event which celebrates business success in the region. The glittering gala dinner will take place on Thursday October 11 at the Aberdeen Exhibition and Conference Centre. Last year’s host, Gaby Roslin said, “It was wonderful to be part of an event which recognised those who have contributed so much to the success of the north-east economy.” Aberdeen Harbour Board are again supporting the event as Principal Sponsor after receiving the Lifetime Achievement award in recognition of outstanding, on-going commitment and achievement in Aberdeen. Last year we received feedback from previous winners of the Northern Star Business Awards who had experienced a growth in sales and revenue which they put down to increased exposure and business opportunities following their success. These awards are all about promoting business in the North-east and nominations will be open from March 2012. The 9th annual ceremony will continue its commitment to charitable and non-profit members by supporting a selection of member charities. Last year, CLAN, Aberdeen International Youth Festival, North East Sensory Services, Befriend a Child and Cornerstone each received over £1,300 thanks to generous donations of the Northern Star guests.
