Subsea UK Adds Fifth Database to Library of Raw Subsea Data

Today Subsea UK is pleased to announce its latest research database, Offshore Renewables.

This index of over 100 current Offshore Renewables projects (wind, wave and tidal) complements Subsea UK's growing library of raw subsea data and includes location, power generated, water depth and date of activation.

We have also been listening to members' feedback on the databases, and have included a guide in each file that explains how to search for specific fields of information and filter your results.

Scholarships for Subsea Engineers

Subsea UK Offers Six Placements

Subsea UK is offering a series of scholarships to increase the number of highly qualified subsea engineers in the industry.

The industry body is investing in a scholarship programme which will enable successful candidates to study towards a post-graduate MSc in subsea engineering. Three full time and three part time scholarships are available.

The deadline for all applicants is Monday 15th August 2011.

Five Categories, Five Winners

Subsea UK is searching for the best subsea photographs in the world to help promote the sector. The winning companies will have their picture promoted with credit on a wealth of marketing material put out by Subsea UK for one year, including printed literature, inclusion on the front page of our website's rolling slides, and will be featured at our upcoming Subsea 2012 exhibition in February.
