OFFSHORE WIND AND SUPPLY CHAIN CONFERENCE & EXHIBITION 2012 CONFIRMED FOR SECOND YEAR AT AECC

Aberdeen Exhibition and Conference Centre (AECC) are looking forward to welcoming the Offshore Wind and Supply Chain Conference and Exhibition for the second year at AECC following a successful show in 2011.

The two-day conference will be held on the 31st January to 1st February 2012 and it is expected that over 500 delegates will attend. There will be more than 50 exhibitors from the Offshore Industry showcasing their products alongside the conference sessions which will be taking place.

This event provides the perfect opportunity to engage with industry contacts, make new connections and hear about the latest developments. It will feature a mix of discussions, workshops and plenary sessions.

This event draws on the experience of the oil and gas industry and lessons learnt from offshore wind so far and promises an experience which will be both exciting and informative.

First minister, The Rt Hon Alex Salmond MSP will open the conference which is free to attend.

Brian Horsburgh, AECC’s Managing Director, commented: “We are looking forward to welcoming the forthcoming conference and exhibition on Offshore Wind and Supply Chain back to AECC again. This event is very appropriate as AECC is the National Energy Exhibition Centre, and I’m sure it will be an interesting event and the largest of its kind in Scotland.”
