Oil & Gas Survey Background
The Chamber carries out a regular and independent survey of the oil and gas sector twice a year which is conducted by the independant Fraser of Allander Institute. A wide range of operator, contractor and service companies are invited to participate in this well established and highly regarded survey. The aim of this work is to gauge and to understand the trends within the industry, looking at optimism and order books at home in the UKCS and overseas - and identifying wider issues facing the sector. Feedback is then used to track sector performance and in particular how these relate to and impact upon the wider business community that the Chamber represents.
