One-way system on King Street

King Street will be open to southbound traffic only between the East North Street/West North Street junction and Mealmarket Street overnight for three nights this week.

The one-way system is being put in place to ensure public safety while heating duct pipe-laying work is carried out.

The work is being carried out overnight to minimise disruption to the travelling public, but there may be some delays. Motorists should use other routes where possible.

The restriction will be in place from 7pm tomorrow [Wednesday, 30 November] until 6am on Thursday, from 8pm on Thursday until 6am on Friday, and from 7pm on Friday until 6am on Saturday.

The road will be open to two-way traffic at all other times.

The diversion route is via West North Street, Mounthooly roundabout and Mounthooly Way.
