Plans for former drinks firm site recommended for approvalCity planners have backed plans for a new residential development on the site of the Bon Accord soft drinks factory in Torry. Members of the city council’s Development Management Sub-committee will consider the proposals to build 69 flats and a small commercial unit at the Greyhope Road site, when they meet on Thursday [12 January].
The plans are for a block of primarily for two-bedroom flats, with basement-level car parking, in one block extending around the west, north and north-east edges of the site.
In her report to the committee, head of Planning and Sustainable Development Dr Margaret Bochel states: “The proposal represents a welcome redevelopment of a brownfield site within a priority regeneration area.“ 73 views
