Putting on a show

Some of the current issues affecting rural and other business in Aberdeenshire will be discussed by speakers at the Business Breakfast which will open the second day of this year’s Turriff Show.

Nigel Miller, recently appointed President of NFU Scotland will outline his plans for the future, highlighting the changes the industry faces, his plans for development and how the sector can contribute to sustainable economic growth across Scotland.

Grant Keenan, MD of Keenan Recycling will provide an overview of his business, now one of Scotland’s leading organics recycling specialists, outlining the services it provides – and explaining how the by-product is a soil improver for agricultural use.

The Aberdeen & Grampian Chamber of Commerce breakfast event on August 1, which is sponsored by Aberdeenshire Council as part of the Shire Connections series, will be chaired by Council Leader Anne Robertson.
