Recruitment Company Reports Surge of Activity.

A leading Aberdeen recruitment company is reporting a surge of activity for engineers.

In the last 12 months, the number of engineering recruiters at Project Excellence has significantly increased , as a direct result of demand from clients.

According to the company, as confidence continues to return to the North east the increasing demand for skilled engineers in the oil and gas sector means it’s never been more important for companies to know how to attract and retain qualified staff. It follows a recent report claiming the largest number of oil and gas fields are being developed in the North Sea in sixteen years .

“There is growing confidence in Aberdeen shown by the number of projects in progress in the North Sea. This has been recently reinforced by BPs announcement that it investing £4.5bn in the West of Shetland Claire extension project” explains Project Excellence’s owner and Project management consultant Mike Howard.

“We are seeing steady growth in demand for experienced engineers across all disciplines which is really good news for the industry. Our clients are looking for the best for their flagship projects and we are successfully sourcing these individuals through our networks and currently have contractors and consultants working on most major projects,” added Project Excellence’s Recruitment Manager Erin Harris.
