Red Spider oil & gas company donates £5,000 to The Stroke Association in Scotland.Red Spider’s Chief Marketing Officer, Kelly Murray, suggested this charity because she wanted to support the charity as her father has been affected by stroke since 2001.
Kelly said, “I hope the donation helps The Stroke Association with their invaluable work. Their services, in particular their research and awareness campaigns, are hugely important. My whole family and I are very grateful for all their hard work and really hope that it leads to fewer strokes and reducing their effect.” Karen Hodgins, Fundraising Manager at The Stroke Association in Scotland said: “ Stroke is a major cause of disability and is the third most common cause of death. It is preventable and treatable, but not everyone is getting the support they need. I am so grateful and delighted that Red Spider has donated such a huge sum of money. These funds will enable us to really help those affected by stroke through our research, campaigning and awareness raising activities and life after stroke grants.” {0shits} views
