Reprographics Firm Raises Thousands for Charity

An Aberdeen reprographics company has raised thousands of pounds to help the fight against cancer.

North East Reprographics (NER), based at Marywell, on the outskirts of Aberdeen, has donated more than £17,000 to CLAN Cancer Support and Breast Cancer Research following a year of fundraising efforts.

The company, which supply Xerox machines and services including printers and copiers throughout the UK and Europe, organised several events to reach their total, including a dinner dance with around 200 guests.

NER Team Manager and Events Organiser, Marino Keith, said: “We chose to support Breast Cancer Research and CLAN because they are charities that are close to our hearts and some of the team have been affected by cancer in one way or another. Stepping forward to join the fight for cancer is a great way to help a really important cause and have fun at the same time.”

Breast Cancer Research Area Volunteer Manager, Richard Cowie, said: “We need everyone in the North-east to join the fight for women’s survival. Our research is making a real impact on breast cancer survival but there is still a long way to go. We need local people to help us fight harder.”

Launched in 1995, NER, which has 54 employees, cater for hundreds of small local businesses and global organisations. NER offers a wide range of business services including machine supply, document archiving, document shredding and office supplies.
