Schools to close if pensions strike goes aheadAberdeen City schools will be closed to pupils on November 30, if the planned nationwide industrial action goes ahead. It seems clear that a majority of teachers and support staff will be involved in the strike action and we will therefore be unable to open the schools to children.
The council is providing this notice as early as possible so that parents can make alternative arrangements.
Staff who are not involved in industrial action will be reporting to work as normal. 116 views
