Science Means Business at SatrosphereSatrosphere Science Centre, one of Aberdeen’s most successful visitor attractions, is gaining a growing reputation as the place to do business, after unveiling its new and improved corporate facilities. Despite being the oldest Science Centre in Scotland, Satrosphere can now offer a prime venue for corporate clients, with state-of-the-art facilities nestled within the historic setting of one of Aberdeen’s tramsheds at Aberdeen’s Beach Boulevard.
After a facelift, Satrosphere now offers a bespoke corporate service, with an extensive array of spaces for hire.
The Einstein and Newton rooms benefit from fantastic natural daylight, Wi-Fi, interactive whiteboards, flipcharts and data projectors, making them ideal for training, presentations or seminars.
Meanwhile, the main exhibition hall can cater for up to 300 and, situated alongside the recently-refurbished Tramsheds Coffee House, provides convenient access for catering. Menus can be tailor-made to suit your requirements, from buffets to full-blown evening dinners or parties.
Alternatively, clients can hire out the laboratory or show theatre for a more informal and science-themed event. Again, the show theatre has recently undergone a radical transformation, thanks to funding from Apache.
With a proven track record and growing appeal to local, national and international clients, Satrosphere is headed by Grant Peterkin, Senior Operations Manager.
Grant said, “Satrosphere is a unique and inspiring venue - the team’s bespoke services are specially tailored to provide the client with an experience which is second-to-none along with incredible value for money. Since the refurbishments, we are now providing an array of spaces and facilities, whether clients are seeking more conventional, corporate spaces or a fresh alternative and something a little different. By holding your corporate event not only will you have an exceptional experience, but you will be helping Scotland’s oldest Science Centre continue to promote science engagement within the community.”
