Scottish Transport Awards 2012

Call for Entries Deadline - 26 January 2012

Entries for the 2012 Scottish Transport Awards are being accepted up until 26 January 2012. The awards ceremony will take place on 14 June 2012 at the Grand Central Hotel, Glasgow.

The awards recognise excellence in transport and reward innovation and progress for transport initiatives which are really working.

The awards are free to enter and the judges welcome any updates to projects submitted in previous years.

All local authorities and organisations involved in transport in Scotland including public, private and voluntary sector are eligible to enter the awards.

• Scottish Transport Local Authority of the Year

• Best Bus Service

• Achievements in Cycling

• Most Effective Road Safety, Traffic Management and Enforcement Project

• Integrated Transport Project of the Year

• Best Practice in Travel to School and Work Schemes

• Excellence in Walking and Public Realm

• Public Transport Operator of the Year

• Most Innovative Transport Project of the Year

• Contribution to Sustainable Transport

• Excellence in Technology and Innovation
