Seaton Park to host next in series of health walksAberdeen City Council’s ranger service is inviting local residents to take part in the latest in a series of walks in the city this week. The Health Walks programme was devised by the ranger service in partnership with NHS Grampian and the Forestry Commission Scotland and includes walks of varying intensity and length.
The next one will be held on Friday [27 January] from 2pm and will be an easy paced walk around Seaton Park. The walk will last around an hour and will take in the park’s gardens and part of the riverside path.
Countryside ranger Ruth Bone said: “If your resolution this year is to get fitter, meet new people or just to take time to relax and de-stress, then a stroll around Seaton Park is a great way to start.”
Anyone wishing to take part should meet at the park car park beside the playground, off Don Street. The walk is free but places must be booked by calling 01224 897400 or e-mailing lochinch@aberdeencity.gov.uk
