STONEHOUSE PROPERTY SET FOR CONTINUED GROWTHA RAPIDLY expanding Aberdeen property company has announced a key acquisition as the firm prepares to embark on a new growth strategy. Stonehouse Property, which specialises in all aspects of the property market, has completed a takeover of Kim Beattie Property Leasing for a six figure sum at a pivotal time for the company.
The move will add another 100 managed properties to Stonehouse’s existing portfolio which was already standing at the 300 mark.
Managing director Ross Murray, who moved into his position in August last year, is delighted to add a new dimension to the company as he looks to plan ahead for the future.
“We are pleased to announce the purchase of Kim Beattie Property Leasing which can only help Stonehouse to further grow and prosper in the future,” said Ross.
“Kim’s portfolio complemented our existing collection of properties and now means Stonehouse has a bigger reach into prestige developments and areas we were perhaps not previously very active in.
“Completing the deal is a great way to start things off in 2012 and we can now look forward to the rest of the year with real vigour and direction.
“One of our next aims is to further develop our managed properties portfolio to reach the 450 mark during this year.”
Stonehouse Property, based in Bon Accord House Riverside Drive, was initially established in 2003 and now employs 17 staff following the acquisition of Kim Beattie Property Leasing.
The firm is forecasting projected turnover figures of £5million by the end of 2012 following the recent growth and expansion. It posted a turnover of £4million during 2011.
