Successful first year for Falck Healthcare in UKFalck Healthcare has announced that it has doubled its workforce and achieved figures 25% ahead of target after completing a successful first year of operation in the UK. The healthcare provider, which provides emergency ambulance services to the general public in 14 countries worldwide, launched its health screening and advice centres in Aberdeen and Teesside in summer 2010. During its first year of operation in the UK, Falck Healthcare additionally increased its product portfolio to include offshore health surveillance and travel clinics as well as offshore medicals. Commenting on the achievement Fiona Wallis, UK business manager, of Falck Healthcare said “Completing year one on target was a relevant goal for us as we were starting from a standing stop in the UK. “The offshore medical market is particularly competitive at the moment. During our first year our focus was always on achieving our internal goals and ensuring our product had a standard of excellence . To finish ahead of target and to bring additional products to the table is testament to our commitment and hard work.” Falck Healthcare is a division of the Falck Group and is Scandinavia’s largest supplier of healthcare to national workplaces.
