Oil & Gas UK Member Rate: £160.00 + VAT Non-member Rate: £200.00 + VAT ONLINE BOOKINGS OPEN - CLICK HERE TO BOOK Recent years have seen several changes in how the upstream oil and gas industry contracts across its supply chain. The development of the model ITTs and LOGIC contracts and the work of FPAL have played a major part in driving down costs and streamlining the process of tendering and contracting. Many new operators and suppliers have entered the supply chain and existing organisations have recruited new personnel. Ensuring that experience gained so far is passed on through training is essential in maintaining the cost effectiveness and efficiency of the supply chain.
For this reason Oil & Gas UK is conducting workshops in both Aberdeen and London which are specifically targeted at professionals who are looking for a high level introduction to the supply chain. These workshops will provide an opportunity to hear from peers within industry who are already using the Model ITTs and LOGIC Forms of Contract to great success. The events have been developed in specific response to industry demand for training on the use and practical application of model contractual supply chain solutions which encourage more efficient and streamlined working practices.
Delegates will include contracts, procurement and sales personnel, legal advisors, project engineers and supply chain practitioners from operator and contractor purchaser organisations.
The half day workshop sessions will be highly interactive with a focus on the practical application of tools and solutions, and will cover:
- Model contractual solutions - what is available and why they were developed
- Prequalification - FPAL internet supply chain database
- Model ITTs and LOGIC Model Forms of Contract - purpose, benefits, and how to use them in practice
- Client and Contractor/Supplier performance measurement and tiered compliance with the Supply Chain Code of Practice
