Torry Town Centre Re-Launch 25th June 2011

Following the exciting announcement of the Retail Rocks Competition Winners on 9th June 2011, Enterprising Torry have announced that it will re-launch Torry Town Centre with a bang on 25th June 2011.

4 of the Retail Rocks Competition Winners shops will open for the first time on 25th June 2011, with a craft and food market being run for the first time in Torry on Menzies Road.

The Torry Police Box ob Victoria Road will also be officially re-opened as well on the day - people can come and meet the local police team and see the re-burbished police box.

Dawn Bellamy – Secretary for Torry Community Council, and co-ordinator for the Enterprising Torry initiative said that 'We want the people of Aberdeen to come and see what's available in Torry, and we believe the Torry Town Centre Re-Launch on 25th June 2011 is a great way to do this – we will have 4 new shops opening, and if thats not special enough we will have a craft and food market in Torry on that day as well'

Calling all artists and crafters!

To help make the Torry Town Centre Re-Launch a success Dawn Bellamy – Secretary for Torry Community Council, and co-ordinator for the Enterprising Torry put out an appeal for any arts and crafts retailers to contact her if they would like to have a stall at the  Torry Town Centre Re-Launch.  People should e-mail her – dawninthenorth@gmail.com if they would like to have a stall at this event.
