Traffic restrictions during pipe workA series of traffic restrictions will be in place next week while pipe-laying work is carried out. King Street will be open to southbound traffic only between the Mealmarket Street and East North Street/West North Street junctions on Sunday [13 November]. That stretch of road will also be closed from 7pm until 6am for two evenings, which are yet to be confirmed, during the week.
Frederick Street will be closed for 100 metres from the King Street junction and there will be no parking on either side of that stretch of road for up to a week from Monday [14 November]. The one-way restriction on Frederick Street will be suspended during this time.
The alternative route for the King Street one-way restriction is via West North Street, Mounthooly roundabout and Mounthooly Way.
The work is weather dependent. 62 views
