Union Street to close for parade

Union Street will be closed from 10.40am until 12.30pm on Saturday for a public parade to go ahead.

From 10.40am Union Street will close to allow the Aberdeen branch of the Educational Institute for Scotland to march through the city centre.

Albyn Place will be closed between Albyn Grove and Holburn Street. Back Wynd and Castle Street will also be closed, except for access. King Street will be closed between Castle Street and East/West North Street.

Traffic restrictions will be lifted to allow buses to make a right turn from Holburn Street into Willowbank Road. Right turns from King Street into West North Street will also be allowed while part of King Street is closed.
