Union Terrace to close for International MarketUnion Terrace will be closed to traffic from 5am Friday 02 September until 10pm on Sunday 04 September to allow the International Street Market to go ahead. The road will be closed between Union Street and Rosemount Viaduct, including the slip road between Rosemount Viaduct and Union Terrace. Diamond Place will also be shut between Diamond Street and Union Terrace.
No parking will be allowed on Union Terrace or the slip road, except for market vehicles. The right-turn ban from Skene Street into Rosemount Viaduct will be lifted for buses only. Pay-and-display parking restrictions will be suspended on both sides of Beach Boulevard, between Wales Street and Hanover Street to opposite the east junction of Wales Street until 9pm on Sunday.
The diversion route for the Union Terrace closure will be via Union Street, Broad Street, Upperkirkgate, Schoolhill and Rosemount Viaduct. 94 views
