WEBER SHANDWICK SCOTLAND NAMED CONSULTANCY OF THE YEAR

- Agency Scoops Ten Prestigious Industry Awards -

Scotland – 26 October 2011 – Leading public relations and public affairs consultancy, Weber Shandwick, is celebrating record success at the annual PRide Awards in Scotland after scooping ten prestigious industry accolades, including Outstanding Public Relations Consultancy.

The awards, operated by the Chartered Institute of Public Relations (CIPR), showcase the best PR work being carried out across the UK regions and are judged by a national panel of industry experts.

Weber Shandwick collected gold awards in the following categories:

• Corporate and Business Communications

• Public Sector

• Best Use of Media Relations

• Integrated Communications

• Best Use of Social Media

• Best Use of Photography or Design

• Best Website or Microsite

• Best use of Measurement and Evaluation

• Outstanding Public Relations Consultancy

In addition, the consultancy scooped a Silver award in the Public Affairs category for its 2011 election prediction site, www.ScotlandVotes.com.
