WGIM invests in QueenslandWood Group Integrity Management (WGIM) has identified the Coal Seam Methane (CSM) business in Queensland as a significant new business opportunity and is actively recruiting locally and internationally to grow and expand the range of local services in the Brisbane Office. With project approvals reaching A$50bn over the past six months, WGIM sees strong opportunities for business growth and diversity, in this new industry sector and has invested accordingly in setting up a local office in the Brisbane CBD to specifically service and support the CSM industry. Mr. Kelly Reilly has been appointed the Brisbane Business Manager. Kelly, originally from Brisbane, brings a strong pedigree with WGIM having originally joined the London office in 2002 before moving to Perth in 2006. Kelly is a degree qualified Materials Engineer, who holds chartered engineering status. His core knowledge is enhanced with his recent design experience on a major LNG project that included development of the strategy for the IMR (inspection, maintenance and repair), operations support and pre-commissioning activities
To augment the growth into the CSM business, WGIM has reinforced its Australian offering with the appointment of Mr. Jim Gillespie as Risk & Reliability Business Team Lead based in Perth. An accomplished Risk Manager with over 24 years of experience, Jim brings a wealth of experience from previous Safety and Risk Management roles.
