WHAT DO YOU MEAN YOUR KIDS ARE BORED...?
ABERDEEN Arts Centre's Spring Arts Festival kicked off this Monday morning (April 4) with an action, fun packed two weeks of workshops for 3-16 year olds. And yes, it's running weekdays until the end of the school holidays (Friday, April 15).
Over 50 children turned out in force, with a huge wave of excitement running through the Centre. Several workshops were at full capacity with last-minute places snaffled by families coming on spec this morning.
Week one spaces have been snapped up for both drama and arts based activities - try cool moves and create a hip hop routine with MC, go mad for musicals with Hazel Mair or why not make your own jewellery and crafts in the Crafty Club workshops?
And, of course, there’s more for those tiny tots with a space-tacular adventure through the Milky Way with Barry Donaldson, Easter Antics with Rhonda Scott, and you can jump ‘All aboard the SS Littl’uns with Captain Sheena! Two weeks of fun are truly guaranteed! Excitement will be at their maximum for and of week show which the parents, friends and families are welcome to attend.
There really is something for all ages at this year’s Spring Arts Carnival and, at only £8.50 a two hour workshop session or £40 for the week, this is sure to impress! And you know what - our Festivals have been going now for 29 years so we must be doing something right!
And, our places can be booked online through our new-look web based system at www.aberdeenartscentre.org.ukor in person at Aberdeen Arts Centre Box Office. Remember too that discount for booking a full week of activities!!! Come on and join in the fun!
