Working with Vulnerable Groups

Date: Thursday 27 October

Venue: Brodies LLP, 23 Carden Place, Aberdeen, AB10 1UQ

Brodies LLP invite you to our seminar ‘Working with Vulnerable Groups’.

The Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme went live on 28 February 2011. The PVG Scheme replaces the enhanced disclosure criminal record check for individuals working with vulnerable groups.

With an estimated 700,000 people in Scotland required to join the PVG Scheme in the next three years, employers in the public, private and third sectors will need to get to grips with the Scheme and how it affects their business.

Join us as we discuss:

  • what's new;
  • what your organisation needs to do now;
  • who needs to join;
  • retrospective checking - how it will work
  • practical examples
  • areas of concern
