This course is aimed at people involved with export sales, payment, documentation, dispatch and import/export activities. It also provides an excellent opportunity for import/export supervisors and managers to acquire a good understanding of the work carried out by their staff.
International trade concepts and procedures are explained in simple everyday terms and delegates leave equipped with a good understanding and knowledge of current best practice.

Who is it for?
Those involved in the setting up export contracts, processing export documentation and organising the shipment of goods.
The course is suitable as a start-up for beginners and as a refresher course for experienced Exporters.

Exam
There is an optional exam (open book) at the end of the course, this is marked by the British Chamber of Commerce (BCC) and gives a certificate of competence. These exams (on passing 6 subjects) will lead to a BCC Foundation Award in International Trade which is equivalent to a SVQ qualification.
