North-east Scotland’s Wood (formerly Wood Group) have recently been hired to support a Saudi Aramco 'mega project' and have worked with them for more than 30 years. Keith will cover the marketing and exporting services available to UK companies along with highlighting day to day administration to expect when conducting business.
Saudi Arabia is the largest economy in the Arab world. It accounts for 25% of the Arab world’s overall Gross Domestic Product (GDP).

Traditionally seen as an oil-based economy, Saudi Arabia holds the title as the world's largest producer and exporter of total petroleum liquids and the country's national corporation.

With a growing diversification within the Saudi economy and a massive government investment in a variety of industries, creating huge multi-sector opportunities for UK businesses exporting to Saudi Arabia.

Chris Innes-Hopkins, Saudi British Joint Business Council will outline major multi-sector opportunities through Vision 2030, discuss how to win and keep business in this country covering cultural aspects and dispel misconceptions.

The Saudi Arabian General Investment Authority (SAGIA) is a central agency for inward investment in Saudi Arabia and Omar Rebhan will discuss why organisations should invest and the incentives on offer in the country.

Delegates will hear how, working across a range of sectors, SAGIA can help businesses navigate through the Saudi system, ensuring they are given the right introductions and options; and are well equipped to establish a successful presence in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and across the region. A key strategic role for SAGIA is to increase the ease of doing business in KSA by identifying required reforms and working on their implementation with their partners across government.
