Leading audit, tax and consulting firm RSM has appointed Grant Morrison and Paul O’Leary to strengthen the audit and technology risk assurance teams, respectively.

Grant is a prominent auditor having worked with PwC in Aberdeen, Houston and the Middle East for 24 years predominantly working with large and mid-tier international corporates.

He brings a wealth of oil and gas and IFRS experience both in upstream exploration, production and oilfield services to the team; and wider expertise across the engineering, construction, manufacturing, automotive, real estate and tourism and hospitality sectors. In his new role, Grant will enhance the capability in Aberdeen and help to grow the practice regionally and across Scotland.

Paul joins RSM from KPMG with over 17 years’ experience advising businesses on all aspects of digital risk including cyber, third party risk, change assurance, operational resilience and governance for robotics and artificial intelligence.

He also brings financial services, technology, retail, energy, construction and government sector expertise to his new role. Paul will support businesses across Scotland to maximise digital opportunities while mitigating risk.

Andrew Forsyth, RSM’s office managing partner in Aberdeen said: "Both appointments are testimony to the talent and expertise of each individual; and bring particular experience that complements and enhances our Scottish offering.

"Our business remains strong and we have ambitious plans for the Aberdeen office; and I look forward to working with Grant and Paul to help shape our future firm".
