The Chamber would particularly welcome applications from members in the following sectors: Third sector, skills, people/recruitment, finance and business. We are also keen to recruit Board members who show the potential to be future business leaders. This is to ensure that there is a representative range of background and experience within the Board.
Policy Council members are expected to have a keen interest in the economic development of the region and willingness to help the Chamber in forming its policy agenda by collating, representing and promoting business interests, views and opinions on key issues.
Policy Council members are also invited to attend invite only roundtables with Government ministers and officials, take part in policy surveys, support the activities of the Chamber and promote Chamber membership to their contact network.
The Chamber would particularly welcome applications from members in the hospitality, digital, transport, fishing and tourism sectors.
We are also keen to recruit Policy Council members who show the potential to be future business leaders.
