Do you have a passion for selling?  Do you love understanding the challenges and opportunities facing businesses in this region?

Yes? Then you’ll be the main point of contact for around 300 small business members across all sectors working to recruit and retain member companies by developing and applying a deep understanding of the Chamber’s services and benefits and the ways these can assist businesses.

You’ll be expected to retain at least 90% of members within your portfolio as well as recruiting new members and keep in regular phone contact with them communicating compelling reasons to remain in membership and really join in with a view to helping them grow and develop.

You’ll need to demonstrate advanced ability for cross-selling and upselling additional services and signposting queries to colleagues or partners.

A strong understanding of sales methodology and processes to achieve sales targets is imperative, along with knowledge of pipeline and opportunity management. Previous use of a CRM system and the importance of its usage, capturing ROI for members is essential.

We expect you to keep up to date your knowledge of the regional business landscape and continually look for opportunities to stimulate business, solve problems and open doors through collaboration with members and other partners.

You will, from time to time, represent the Chamber effectively within the business community at events.

Achievement of agreed sales targets and KPIs including membership retention and recruitment, member satisfaction, sponsorship generated for Chamber activities and business leads referred to internal teams; delivered in line with agreed plans, revenue and cost budgets.
