We are currently seeking nominations for Policy Council members; people who are as passionate about our aims as we are and who are keen to actively help us to deliver them.
Our aim is to create the buoyant, diversified regional economy that will enable our more than 1,150 member organisations, and the 125,000+ people employed by them to be more successful and prosperous. These members join the Chamber to make their own companies stronger while ‘putting something back’ by playing their part in making the North-east an even better place to live, study, visit, invest and do business.
The Chamber Policy Council meets 3 times each year and helps the Chamber in forming its policy agenda by collating, representing and promoting business interests, views and opinions on key issues. Policy Council members are also invited to attend invite only roundtables with Government ministers and officials, take part in policy surveys, support the activities of the Chamber and promote Chamber membership to their contact network.
