Asthma and Allergy Foundation Health and Humanitarian Awards 2019

What an amazing night!!!

A huge thank you to everyone who came to support and celebrate the finalists and winners of the 2019 Health and Humanitarian Awards. It was, indeed, a night of good food, red carpet glam and lots of fun!

The Health and Humanitarian Awards honours and celebrates the people and organisations that continue to make significant contributions to the Aberdeen Community, touching the lives of many through their generosity, their extraordinary work, and excellent leadership.

At Asthma and Allergy Foundation, we continue to be amazed by the many ways the people and organisations in our community give back and we are proud to have hosted this year’s ceremony to say “thank you” to those who have invested their time and resources in the people, place and things that they value the most. These “unsung heroes” have invested hugely in creating opportunities to foster people development within organisations and local community groups as well as people whose lifelong commitment have made a significant difference in the provision of effective and efficient social care and healthcare services in Aberdeen.

It was great to see so many worthy award recipients including Mr George Adam, former Lord Provost of Aberdeen who won the big impact category; Prof Steve Turner who won the Respiratory Leader, Northsound Cash for Kids who won the making a difference category and several other worthy winners and finalists. It was an honour to have so many great people in our midst including Lewis MacDonald MSP, Mr Dennis Pinto, Oil & Gas veteran amongst others.

The award ceremony presented a great opportunity for individuals, third sector and private organisations alike to meet, exchange ideas and explore opportunities for collaboration, for the greater development of our community.

Well done to our amazing team at Asthma and Allergy Foundation, winners and finalists, our sponsors and everyone who came out to support those who go above and beyond to support people in our communities ðŸ‘ðŸ‘ðŸ‘ðŸ‘. It was truly amazing to see team members from Instant Neighbour, Cash for Kids, Aberdeen Action on Disability, Me Too, HR Hub Plus Ltd, Aberdeen Council of Voluntary Organisations, Scopus Engineering, HMP Prisons, Fountain of Love amongst others.
