Join us as we explore the new business opportunities for firms operating in the life sciences, food and drink, gaming, clean energy and technology sectors in this second part of our Scotland-Sweden virtual business exchange.

Sweden is among the most competitive, innovative and globalised nations in the world. The country has a stable economy, a skilled labour force and sophisticated consumers while it’s approach to international business is modern, open and friendly. Businesses welcome international partnerships and there is a skilled and well-educated workforce. This makes Sweden an easy country to operate in and the corporate tax rate is low by international standards.

As a result, the UK and Sweden are long-standing trade and investment partners with total trade value in the year up until April 2019 at £20.9 billion (ONS, 2019).

Held in partnership with the Swedish Chamber of the Commerce for the UK, this session will provide an in-depth look at the growth potential, market access and partnership opportunities that exist for companies operating in the five key sectors who are interested in exporting and expanding internationally.

Led by expert international speakers from each industry, businesses will be able to hear targeted information specific to their sector by registering to attend individual seminars, with extensive Q&A sessions and open knowledge-sharing actively encouraged.

Free to attend (a maximum of five people per company).

Full speaker details and agenda to be announced.
