Join us at Aberdeen & Grampian Chamber of Commerce as we share the latest findings from the Quarterly Economic Survey (QES) – the UK’s largest and most representative private business survey, capturing real-time insight from around 5,000 businesses nationwide.
The results highlight a business community still facing fragile conditions, with many firms reporting little improvement in key indicators such as investment and cash flow, alongside rising cost pressures. Against this backdrop, sentiment remains subdued, with businesses continuing to navigate a challenging and uncertain environment.
We’ll be joined by representatives from report sponsor Gilson Gray, alongside an expert panel, to explore the key trends emerging from the data – with a particular focus on how the North-east compares to the national picture.
Fieldwork took place during March, meaning results capture sentiment prior to the most recent escalation in global geopolitical tensions.
