A landmark Aberdeen office building has been launched to the market following a £2million refurbishment.

Esson Properties has completed the overhaul of 9 Queen’s Road, a 20,279 sq ft Category B-listed building dating back to 1878.

The granite villa has been restored while adding modern facilities including a co-working lounge, coffee bar, locker rooms and showers. Investment in an all-electric energy system, EV parking and LED lighting has also made the building net zero operational ready.

Local firm MTM Construction delivered the refurbishment, with Landed Real Estate and Ryden appointed as marketing agents.

Hunter Esson, director of Esson Properties, said: “The aim at 9 Queen’s Road is to showcase a sustainable, net zero working environment to satisfy today’s most dynamic businesses. We are delighted that this project has been so well received by those that have already enjoyed a sneak peek!”

Derren McRae, of Landed Real Estate, said: “9 Queens Road has certainly brought the ‘wow factor' to the Aberdeen commercial property market, and the amazing quality of the refurbishment really has to be seen to be believed.”
