As a small company based in Laurencekirk, Aberdeenshire, Body & Face St. Cyrus Ltd has had a hectic two months since the beginning of 2021.
The company has:
- Registered with the Information Commissioner’s Office certifying that it is GDPR compliant and customer information and details are held securely
- After three security scans and updating /checking of its IT system by an external consultant Body & Face is confirmed as PCI DSS compliant ensuring credit card payment security from our online, virtual payment system
- Retained its accreditation against the Cruelty Free International standard of non-animal testing of products and ingredients – in fact, not since the company was taken over in 1994.
- Following a remote assessment of Body & Face’s Quality Management System on February 25, the assessor has recommended continued certification against the ISO 9001:2015 standard – probably more intensive than an onsite visit as verification documentation was required against a lengthy list in advance and further information needed to answer queries on the day.
Director Angela Carr said: "For a company of only eight employees this represents a major commitment and understanding of processes and procedures from all staff, particularly during the pandemic disruption."
