Denis Law Legacy Trust's Annual Fundraising Dinner was another great success this year with a stellar amount raised and plenty of entertainment throughout the night.

"A huge thank you to the incredible generosity of all involved, which means so much to the charity given the challenging times we are all facing. It is testament to the kindness and charitable nature of all who attended." said Denis Law Legacy Trust.

Special guests included Scottish World Cup greats, Joe Jordan, Stuart Kennedy, Jim Leighton and Willie Miller and of course Denis Law, patron of the charity alongside many of his family and friends.

Entertainment on the night came from comedian Chris Forbes, who sold-out at the Edinburgh Fringe earlier this year. He was joined by friend of the charity and tennis icon, Judy Murray for his hilarious warm up act “The Third Murray Brother”. The evening ended triumphantly with the Toast of Bon Accord from the Lord Provost himself.

The money raised from the dinner will go a long way in helping to grow the charity and its impactful programmes like Streetsport which fundamentally exist to provide a positive platform for young people to thrive in their communities.

It was an honour for Denis Law to present Willie Miller with a certificate and gift commemorating his appointment as our first ever ambassador. The audience were delighted to see Denis on stage and Willie expressed his willingness to do all that he can to support the charity as ambassador.

Denis Law Legacy Trust said, "Our sincere thanks go to all our sponsors, the table hosts, all attendees, everyone who donated prizes and all the team behind the scenes. Thanks also to The Marcliffe hotel staff and the Granite City Events team for their excellent work and cooperation which ensure the event runs like clockwork."

Next year's Annual Fundraising Dinner is already confirmed at The Marcliffe hotel, Friday, November 17.

Denis Law Legacy Trust thanked all those who attended, "We’re looking forward to next year and hope you are too! Until then, our sincerest thanks for all of your efforts in making this year’s dinner a truly memorable occasion."
